Description

photo BOND SPRINGS is steeped in history. First settled in the 1870's after a heroic 12 month wagon trek through the formidable terrain of Central Australia. Isolation and hardship were the constant companions of the original settlers, but their spirit was undaunted and their determination to succeed created Bond Springs. Australia's Cattle King, Sir Sydney Kidman, purchased the station in 1910 and through the years it has remained a family owned station.

Our family purchased Bond Springs in 1964 and today it continues to be a successful family cattle station, with a reputation for producing some of the best beef in the Territory. The homestead and the surrounds are lovingly maintained and are a testament of the early pioneers. We feel privileged to be able to share the experience of gracious outback living in this historic homestead. In 1989 we began to welcome a handful of guests to enjoy Bond Springs Station as a visit for day trips. With increasing demand it was decided to open the Homestead for houseguests.

An elegant and charming retreat for only 16 discerning guests. Situated just 20 minutes north of Alice Springs in the magnificent MacDonnell Ranges and in the centre of a large cattle station.
