The Cairns Colonial Club Resort is a three to four star resort situated on 10.5 acres (4 hectares) of award winning lush tropical gardens. These gardens feature 2500 species of plants, echoing the atmosphere of the tropical rainforests in the region. There are three lagoon style pools, one complete with swim-up bar. The resort has five different styles of rooms and many resort facilities such as a hair dressing salon, resort shop, fitness centre, tennis court, conference centre, and four food & beverage outlets.

The resort offers complimentary transfers to the resort from all major arrival points. A courtesy cityshuttle runs every hour throughout the day. Enjoy free use of the tennis court, gymnasium with spa/sauna, and childrens playground. For guests convenience there is also a Tour Desk on site to organise any trips or tours whilst you are in Tropical North Queensland. Our highly trained Tour Desk staff can give you advice on a tour to suit your needs and budget, as well as organising any booking arrangements for you. Situated only seven kilometres (4.5 miles) from Cairns International Airport, and six kilometres (4 miles) from the Cairns City Centre the "Colonial Club" is an island style resort situated on the mainland. The Cairns Colonial Club Resort offers more than just a hotel room on which to base a Great Barrier Reef and Rainforest experience.

Jardines Restaurant is a relaxed and intimate dining experience from an innovative menu. The restaurants ambience reflects the heritage of a bygone era in Colonial North Queensland history. Dine on the wide, airy verandahs or in air-conditioned comfort. Either way, Jardines is an exceptional dining experience.

For breakfast and dinner, open-air dining is one of Tropical North Queenslands great pleasures. The Homestead Restaurant offers a fantastic breakfast buffet with a vast selection of fruits, cereals, breads, juices, pastries, eggs, sausages, hash browns and much, much more. It is available in two styles, Tropical Continental or the ultimate Full Cooked.

For dinner, choose from our buffet with a full range of soups, pasta, breads, salads and fruits. This is complimented by our Char Grill menu, offering a great variety of grill meals.

Open from 10am until 10pm the Poolside Cafe offers a great casual dining option. The Cafe serves a range of light meals and snacks which you can enjoy either in the cafe, by the pool or in your room. The Poolside Cafe and Bar is a fantastic spot to relax with one of our fabulous cocktails or for a refreshing drink during happy hour.
