Daintree Eco Lodge & Spa projects a sense of exotic remoteness which is belied by the fact that it is located only 90 minutes by car from Cairns and 40 minutes from Port Douglas, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. A sealed road runs right to the front door.

Only 15 upmarket villas occupy secluded positions high in the rainforest canopy ... reinforcing the impression of being 'at one with nature', yet still providing all the creature comforts of a four and a half star property.

Each air conditioned villa is fully micro-screened and has ensuite bathrooms, satellite TV, IDD and STD Telephones, tea and coffee making facilities. Some feature their own private spa recessed into the balcony.
