The Kangaroo Island Seafront was originally built in 1916 as the Sorrento’s Resort and was extensively refurnished in 2000. The Seafront has aptly named its restaurant as "Sorrento’s" as tribute to the Sorrento’s Resort that still holds a place in many South Australian honeymooners’ heart.
The Kangaroo Island Seafront is a small boutique property with all the features and facilities of an International Hotel. Reception is open 7 days a week from 7.00am to 10.00pm. Check in is at 2.00pm and Check out is at 10.00am. Late Check out is available on request. Room Service is also available 7 days a week.
The Hotel features include, Conference, Meeting and banquet facilities for up to 50 people, Sorrento’s Al a Carte Restaurant, Solar Heated Freshwater Swimming Pool, Outdoor Spa, Sauna, Half Court Tennis, Mini Golf, BBQ Facilities, Guest Laundry and Car Parking

The Restaurant is open 7 Days a week, and is available for private group dinning.

Twelve superior Four Star Ocean View Rooms (6 upstairs, 6 downstairs). Recently refurbished these rooms are spacious with stunning views of the ocean and private balconies.
Six free standing, private and spacious self-contained chalets are located within the grounds amongst tropical gardens. Recently completely refurbished, these rooms offer great flexibility for longer stays and romantic getaways.
Three Cottages offer excellent flexibility for families and groups travelling together. Fully self contained and serviced daily, the cottages are spacious and comfortable.
Six Heritage Rooms are located upstairs in the original Sorrento Guest House building. These rooms share a large balcony with stunning views of Backstairs passage to mainland South Australia. Furnished in traditional décor to three star standard, these rooms are ideal for the short stay guest who like to enjoy the accommodation facilities, great service with less expensive room rates.
