Situated in one of the world's most magnificent and untouched tropical wildernesses - the Australian Northern Territory's Garig Gunak Barlu National Park on the Cobourg Peninsula of Arnhem Land.
Northern Australia's first flora and fauna protection reserve, to stay on the Cobourg Peninsula is an exclusive privilege - entry is by permit only, and visitor numbers are extremely limited.
Seven distinct environments are protected here - from the ocean wilds to the shoreline rivers a paperbark swamps, rainforest jungle, Arnhem Land bush and the age old rocks.
Just a few metres from the shores of the Arafura Sea, Seven Spirit Bay nestles among the trees in virtually untouched forest, designed to be in complete harmony with its environment.

Guests stay in 23 freestanding 'habitats', while a central complex houses reception, lounge bar, restaurant, library and conference room, all overlooking the magnificent lagoon swimming pool and Coral Bay. The hub of Seven Spirit Bay is where guests go to dine and socialise, sharing the experiences of their day. Sipping a favourite drink at the lounge bar and witnessing a magnificent Top End sunset, anticipating a meal that features the finest local and national produce with an emphasis on seafood... It doesn't get any better than this. Naturally, special dietary requirements can be looked after as requested.
Dining in tropical style in the cool of covered timber decking, guests enjoy unimpeded views of the Arafura Sea and the surrounding bushland.
Guests are privately housed in large, hexagonal habitats, each secluded in the bush. With five sides featuring floor to ceiling louvred shades with screens to let in the breeze, the habitats allow the impression of total immersion in the tropical surroundings.
A unique private garden bathroom is adjacent to the habitat and allows guests to pretend they're in Eden, with showers surrounded by seductive gardens and open to the colours of the Top End sky. Two Queen size beds make for relaxed comfort, a refrigerator containing cold water and beverages, and tea and coffee making facilities make it easy to stay in the habitat in the langour of a tropical day.

GETTING THERE
Flights from Sydney to Darwin take four hours. Seven Spirit Bay books a 45-minute flight to Midjari Airstrip, Vashon Head, and it is a 45-minute trip by four-wheel drive from the airstrip to the resort.
