The Regal only opened late September 2000 but you can still enjoy the pleasures of yesteryear with all the modern conveniences of a new Port Douglas accommodation complex. Your luxury self-contained apartment is ready and waiting for you! If you're flying in to Cairns airport, you can look forward to a beautiful drive by bus or hire car through fields of sugar cane with mountains behind, then spectacular ocean scenery, before arriving at Port Douglas. We can arrange coach transfers for you.

Port Douglas (or 'Port', as the locals call it) still retains its charm as an old tropical north Queensland fishing village. There's nothing quite like 'Port' anywhere else in Australia.

Now what sort of apartment would you like? By the way, we are assured the Regal Port Douglas apartments are amongst the largest one bedroom apartments of any Port Douglas accommodation.

It may look like a hotel but Regal Port Douglas apartments are a self catering accommodation complex with room servicing every 7 days or half way through your stay if you are staying for a longer period. Daily servicing or towel change can be arranged at a reasonable cost if so desired.

You can choose from a hotel-style room (bedroom, bathroom, balcony) with tea & coffee making facilities, toaster and fridge, a self-contained one bedroom apartment with indoor spa and sofa bed, a one bedroom apartment with balcony jacuzzi, or a two bedroom apartment with two bathrooms and both an indoor bath with spa jets, and a balcony jacuzzi.

Or are you thinking of the honeymoon suite? Second honeymoon? Lovers retreat? Great! Well, do we have something special for you! There are two luxurious "honeymoon" suites, each has a really large, private outdoor area with a spa pool and shade sails, BBQ and entertaining area.

Then there's a large free form pool with an island and waterfall, with a pool-side BBQ (We can give you our special marinade recipe for your fish or seafood, it's really good).
