Wrotham Park Station is located in Far North Queensland, 300km west of Cairns, in a spectacular setting on a sprawling 600,000 hectare working cattle station.
Catering for no more than 20 guests at any one time, 10 superbly appointed “Quarters” and an equally stunning communal lounge and dining facility called “The Homestead” are situated along an escarpment overlooking the Mitchell River.
The guest “Quarters” are superbly appointed, featuring king size beds, deep leather armchairs, reverse cycle air conditioning, ceiling fan, direct dial STD/ISD telephones, sound system, binoculars, mini bar, tea/coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, ensuite bathroom with shower, deluxe toiletries and a fantastic deck with daybed and squatter chairs to kick back and unwind.
In true Australian Outback style, “The Homestead” is the communal heart of the property. Guests will relish the warm hospitality, fantastic views, expansive deck with swimming pool, a self service bar, relaxing lounge and cosmopolitan camp-fire.
Guests enjoy luxury accommodation, sumptuous country cuisine, fine wines and premium beverages (additional cost), as well as an exclusive touring experiences such as nature walks, fishing, picnics, stargazing, mountain biking, cooking demonstrations, Bocce, interpretive cattle mustering and yard work viewing.
Half day station tours, horse riding, canoeing, and private half and full day 4WD or fishing tours are available at extra cost.
