Otway National Park takes in some of Victoria's most spectacular and unspoiled landscapes. Reached via the Great Ocean Road, the 12,876 hectare park is perfect for a wide variety of recreational and nature based activities. Experience the natural beauty of the Otway National Park by walking some of the many walking tracks in the park, including fine beach walking at Wreck Beach and Johanna Beach and coastline walking on the Aire River West - Castle Cove walk.Visit the Cape Otway Lighthouse. More than 150 years old the Cape Otway Lighthouse was built in 1848 as a warning beacon for ships entering Bass Strait. The Maits Rest Rainforest Walk is an Otways experience not to be missed. A short interpretive walk follows a sign-posted track into the tranquil cool temperate rainforest.
