This magnificent retreat was once home to the Brigidine order in
Coonamble, about 600kms west from the Hunter. After careful
reconstruction it now sits amidst magnificent landscaped Pepper Tree
Vineyard. With only seventeen luxuriously appointed guest rooms the atmosphere is cosy and intimate. Just a stroll away is the acclaimed Roberts Restaurant. Included in the restaurant building is Pepper Tree Cottage from 1876. This ironbark cottage has a National Trust listing and is open for inspection during restaurant hours. On the way to Roberts lies the Pepper Tree Winery and Tasting Barn.
There is no better place to relax and enjoy two of life's great luxuries - good food and wine. Peppers Guest House is nestled in the Pokolbin region of Hunter Valley Wine Country, home to many of Australia's finest wine makers. And for those seeking fine food, the most awarded restaurant in the Hunter Valley is our own Chez Pok - offering a unique country style menu with Asian, French and Italian influences. Set in peaceful country gardens, Peppers Guest House is the ideal escape from today's busy lifestyle. 47 colonial style rooms are luxuriously furnished
with antiques and decorated with rustic bric-a-brac. You'll find Peppers Guest House conveniently located 2 hours north of Sydney.
