The Great Ocean Road provides the visitor with some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in Australia. One of the most popular activities to attract people to the area is surfing and the towns of Lorne, Torquay and Anglesea all provide learn to surf schools.

Torquay has the attraction of being the closest town to some of the best beaches in Victoria such as Bells Beach, Fisherman’s Beach and Jan Juc. Torquay also has Surfworld Plaza shopping complex with all the big name brands having a store here as well as the Surfworld Australia Surfing Museum being located here. The Tiger Moth World is found near Torquay, which offers joy flights and tours of the 12 apostles.

The town of Lorne has the very popular places of Teddy’s Lookout and Erskine Falls as well as the beautiful coastal ranges of Otway. Apollo Bay is a pretty little seaside town with a great historical museum and the magical Mariners Lookout just a few kilometres from town.

Cape Otway has some spectacular attractions and the most obvious is Otway National Park, which includes places such as Maits Rest Rainforest Boardwalk, Hopetoun and Beauchamps Falls and Cape Otway Lighthouse. The Port Cambell National Park is also located in this region and it is in this National Park where you will find the famous 12 Apostles, Glenample Homestead, Gibson’s steps and Loch Ard Gorge as well as London Bridge.
