Outback NSW has some interesting towns to visit such as Bourke, Cobar, Broken Hill and Silverton. Each of these towns have their own attractions such as the Darling river and Mt Gunderbooka in Bourke, Mt Grenfell’s Aboriginal carvings in Cobar, Broken Hill’s Delprat’s Mine and museums and galleries showing its history, and the camel tours offered in Silverton. The region also has national parks, which are very fascinating in there own rights. The national parks include, Mungo National Park with the interesting history of Lake Mungo as well as the Walls of China cliffs, Mootwingee National Park that holds some great Aboriginal history, Sturt National Park with its attraction of 4WD track and bushwalks. With in all these national parks you will find many Australian native birds and animals as well as some outstanding plants and flowers.
