The Hunter Valley and the Central Coast have some excellent attractions to visit, which fall amongst the cities and towns of Newcastle, Gosford, Terrigal, Maitland, Cessnock, Pokolbin and Singleton.

The most obvious attractions in the Hunter Valley are the wineries. There is so many to choose from and it is easier to take a tour that gives you a taste of the best on offer. The town of Maitland also has some heritage buildings and museums to visit if you want to see something else beside wineries on your visit.

The attraction to the Central Coast is the pristine beaches found at Terrigal and Avoca and the suburbs around these towns. The Central Coast also provides good lakes and still water for sailing, fishing, water skiing and other water sports. This is a great place to visit and is even close enough to visit as a day trip from Sydney as it is only a short trip from the city.
